SUNDAY
BLOODY SUNDAY (UK, 1971)
One of the sexiest openings for a
film — a Silver Fox examining
another Silver Fox!
The film centers around a bizarre
love triangle. Doctor Daniel Hirsch (Peter Finch) is in love with
Bob Elkin (Murray
Head), who is in love with
Alec Greville (Glenda
Jackson). Bob juggles both
relationships masterfully, fulfilling
his emotional desires at the expense
of Daniel and Alec.
A portrait of emotional co-dependance
and fear of loneliness. Daniel and
Alec would rather deny their situations
as long as they would receive some
of Bob's attention. After he plays
with their feelings until he's tired,
Alec moves to New York to follow a
business opportunity.
Peter finch is a handsome Silver Fox
that will melt your heart! It will
upset you to see how lonely he is
and what he has to put up with in
a desperate attempt to find love.
Great drama, wonderful cast and a
terrific soundtrack sadly never released
commercially.

THE
LOST LANGUAGE OF CRANES (UK, 1991)
This great flm deals with the complexities
of coming out. Owen (Brian
Cox) and Rose (Eileen
Atkins) are a typical suburban
couple who love their son Philip.
Young Philip is in love with a younger
man and is determined to tell his
parents about it. Rose is shocked
but not as much as Owen, for one simple
reason: Owen is very much like his
son.
While Philip tries to be entirely
too honest with everyone around him,
his dad spent days and evenings in
gay porno cinemas in search of much-needed
male affection.
Owen, who is an academian, has a crush
on a new young professor. Pretending
to find a partner for his son, Owen
invites his colleague for dinner.
Rose finds out what the whole thing
is about and confronts Owen, who at
that moment reveals to her that he
is gay as well. Moreover, Rose isn't
all that innocent -- Owen has been
noticing for some time that she had
been seeing a lover from her past.
Both father and son begin a new journey
helping one another as they learn
about their newly found lives.

INSPECTOR
MORSE: A REMORSEFUL DAY (UK, 2000)
Before Inspector Gadget there was
Inspector Morse. Totally British and
one absolutely gorgeous Silver Fox,
John Thaw is the portrait of justice
itself.
"The Remorseful Day" is
a film based on a novel by Colin Dexter.
It is the 33rd Inspector Morse film
and one of British television's biggest-ever
successes.
There are several episodes of the
Inspector Morse series we recommend.
'A Remorseful Day' is one of the very
best. Packed with handsome Silver
Foxes, this film is guaranteed to
keep you from blinking.
The Inspector Morse series has been
televised in 174 countries and continues
to be a hit in the UK where people
are fond of old Morse. If you want

THE
EQUALIZER (USA, 1985)
Got a Problem? Odds Against You? Call
The Equalizer!
One of our most beloved TV detectives,
The Equalizer became one of the sleeper
television hits of the 1980s. Robert
McCall (Edward
Woodward) is a retired detective
who served as a high-ranking operative
for a classified intelligence division,
conceived within the CIA, always referred
to as “The Agency.”
Robert McCall has two distinctive
personalities. On one hand, he is
the daddy-next-door type who loves
his son and wants the best for him.
On the other, he acts as a for-hire
professional with a gun, who can be
contacted via an ad in the New York
newspapers. Calling himself “The
Equalizer,” he promises to equalize
the odds for those whose lives are
in danger.
One hell of a handsome chappy, Woodward
is one of the 80's TV icons that has
become a cult figure. If you'd like

THE
MATRIX RELOADED, (USA, 2003)
Packed with stunning visual effects
and action scenes, The Matrix Reloaded
redefines movie special FX once again.
Neo, Morpheus, Trinity, and the rest
of their crew continue to battle the
machines that have enslaved the human
race in the Matrix. As their quest
unfolds, Neo learns more about his
super-heroic abilities, including
the ability to see the codes of the
people and things around him.
The Oracle gives Neo instructions
to find the keymaker and seek out
the source. If Neo fails the mission,
then the rebellion will be crushed,
and the machines will win the war.
The central characters of the film
for all of us gray hair lovers (sorry
Neo and Trinity) are Councillor Hamann (Anthony
Zerbe),
a handsome Silver Fox in control of
the Galactic Council — and The
Architect (Helmut
Bakaitis) the master mind who designer the Matrix
itself.
Wooof! Daddy! These are the kind of
bosses you'd love to take orders from!

MIDAQ
ALLEY (Mexico, 1997)
This is one terrific movie that started
a new generation of film making in
which 4 stories are happening at the
same time. This movie gave Salma
Hayek her big break. She had
been making TV sitcoms in Mexico until
this movie was made, then she was
called by Hollywood execs in a jiffy!
The movie focuses on 4 different but
interconnected stories, the one you
would enjoy is about Rutilio (Ernesto
Gomez Cruz), an older man who
owns a bar in the old part of the
city who discovers that he likes men.
Things turn ugly when his son finds
out and confronts him and his young
lover in a public bath house and then
leaves for the USA only to suffer
for one year not knowing if the younger
Bubba survived the beating or not.
This movie has won awards the world
over. Recommended!

MIDNIGHT
IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD AND EVIL, (USA,
1997)
The 1997 film featured Kevin
Spacey as Jim Williams and Jude Law as Danny Hansford. He was called Billy
Carl Hanson in the movie, so as not
to offend members of the Hansford
family. The Lady Chablis appeared
as herself.
Several changes were made from the
book. Many of the more colorful characters
were eliminated or made into composite
characters. The reporter role, played
by John Cusack, was ostensibly based
on Berendt. However, while Berendt
was gay, Cusack's character was heterosexual,
and was given a love interest not
featured in the book, a role played
by Eastwood's daughter Alison Eastwood.
The multiple Williams trials were
combined into one on-screen trial.
Reviews of the film were generally
mixed, with praise for Spacey's likeness
to Williams and the inclusion of Chablis.
The film's box office performance
was ultimately disappointing. Fans
of the book were generally disappointed
in the film, particularly the aforementioned
differences.
Advertising for the film became a
source of controversy when Warner
Bros. used elements of Jack Leigh's
famous photograph in its posters for
the movie without his permission.
They later settled out of court for
an undisclosed sum.

NAKED GUN, (USA, 1990)
He's goofy.
He's gorgeous. He's The Naked Gun!
Frank Drebin (Leslie
Nielsen) is a detective ready
to fight evil. The trouble is, he
can be a worse solution than the original
problem.
The movie is a spinoff of the cult
TV show Police Squad! Frank seeks

yes OJ!) is shot by drug dealers.
Frank searches for the Mister Big
behind it all. His main suspect is
shipping magnate Vincent Ludwig (Ricardo
Montalban), but he can't prove a thing.
Frank gets bumped from the force by
the mayor (Nancy Marchand). But with
the unexpected assistance of Ludwig's
ex-girl-friend (Priscilla Presley),
Frank manages to nab the bad guy at
an Angels-Mariners baseball game,
where Reggie Jackson has been programmed
to assassinate Queen Elizabeth!
Warning: He's so goofy and good lookin'
he'll steal your heart!
