"Don't learn safety rules simply by accident"

By
now almost everyone has done it, even you,
chatted with someone or made a friend over
the internet, but we all should ask ourselves
at times "A
friend??"
The web certainly has made our lives easier
and more productive, we can book flights,
order groceries, stay in touch with distant
relatives and the list goes on..
But unfortunately there
is no police on the Internet, so think about the Internet as a big, wonderful
open field, or as a dark and gloomy place
full of predators, the
Internet my dear possoms is both!
So you must exercise good judgement and think
twice before you give away any personal information
and think very carefully before going on a
blind date, you
never know who you will meet. The more you
know about your date, the better!
But wackos
are not the only thing you have to worry about,
there are also professional
spammers, Malware, Addware and Hackers
who would love to get a hold of your credit
card numbers!!
REMEMBER, SENIOR LOVER IS A SPAM FREE SITE,
WE'D NEVER SHARE YOUR PRIVATE INFO OR EMAIL
ADDRESS WITH ANY ANNOYING TELEMARKETING FIRM.
These are our top safety tips for a successful
and safe web date. |

1.
Be careful giving out your email address - It is easy to end up on a “junk
email” (spam) list.
2. Beat the bastards
at their own game - The famous Nigerian
letter.
If you are contacted by some government
official asking for your cooperation to transfer
some crazy amount of money such as $20,000,000
to your bank account for one day saying that
for the favor you'll receive $2,000,000 beat
them at their own game!
» Write
back and say "Dear Sirs: I am willing
to help"
» They'll
write back saying how grateful they are requesting
your home phone number to contact you, give
them a false phone number! let the bastards
pay for the long distance calls (typically
originated from internet cafes in London or
Nigeria)
» They'll
write back saying: "We called but it
was a bakery, we need your home number"
» Write
back and say "Sorry, I gave you the wrong
number, here's the correct number.."
and give another false
number, let the bandits pay for the calls
from wherever they are!
» They'll
soon get the point and realize that you know
what they're up to and they'll probably delete
your email address and never contact you again. |
